Q: Can we use another Deployment method than ’Fixed (Default)’? What about ‘Available’ or ‘Optional’?

We recommend ‘Fixed’ because it is Microsoft’s default and because it ensures that the DPG Office Add-In is automatically deployed to the shared mailboxes of your choosing. In our experience secure mailboxes ( in Danish also known as sikre postkasser, fællespostkasser or funktionspostkasser ) are almost always created in Exchange Online as shared mailboxes.
